I actively partner with other project discipline leads to ensure the best work is being put in front of the client.

BASIC® is a creative digital agency founded in San Diego, CA. As a Digital Producer at BASIC®, Nicole facilitated a vast range of projects from conception to completion, while leading large teams of creatives to strive for a unified client vision. Her strengths lie in her ability to adapt to change, understand the clients vision, preach eCommerce best practices, and execute upon the best in class work. At BASIC® she enjoyed the projects that challenged her team to think outside of the box, by creating experiences that captivated the world through a not-so-typical lens. Her client roster grew large over the years, and she had the opportunity to work with brands that are changing the world including Patagonia, Google, Herman Miller, Fender Guitars, Adobe, OXO, Desktop Metal & Hidden Valley Ranch.

PepsiCo
2012-2015
As a Customer Development Manager at PepsiCo, it was Nicole’s responsibility to foster and maintain an account roster of 500+ Foodservice accounts in the San Diego area. Cultivating strong relationships, exceeding quarterly KPI’s all while growing revenue in her territory were tasks that stood at the heart of this position. As an expert in CPG industry, Nicole developed the skills to be able to communicate the benefits of the products over the competitor. She was the Sales leader in her territory for four straight quarters, earning herself the Blue award for highest sales volume in the Foodservice department. Highlights in this role included building product displays at point of purchase, and watching her clients revenue skyrocket during peak moments & Holiday’s rushes.
5-Hour Energy®
2010-2012
Nicole’s responsibilities as a Field Marketing Team Lead at 5-Hour Energy® were to drive awareness and brand recognition through grassroots marketing efforts. This consisted of planning and executing events in the California area targeting 5-Hour’s primary audience of blue-collar executives & people who could simply use a pick me up. She was also in charge of hiring, onboarding and training team members on product knowledge & KPI goals, while educating & coaching them on how to have tough conversations with consumers.
Red Bull
2008-2010
As a Brand Ambassador & Marketing Representative for Red Bull North America, the first few years of Nicole’s college years were spent participating in grassroots field marketing initiatives for the brand. Learning how to communicate with peers, plan and execute events, schedule and train team members on roles & responsibilities all gave her the knowledge & skills to understand basic marketing principles for an extremely successful Global brand. The relationships formed during her early career at RedBull, shaped how she approached people and personalities from all walks of life.

Mindful Choice
2020
In 2020 Nicole completed 40 hours of a Mindful Leadership Certification through Mindful Choice Leadership Academy, led by Christie Garcia. This training taught her about the ego within the workplace, how to manage many personalities, by first managing your own emotions. The subconscious brain controls 90% of our thoughts, meaning that 10% of the analytical mind is dependent upon the programs we received from childhood. Mindful Choice Leadership Academy has taught Nicole to be more compassionate with herself and others when difficult conversation arise.
